Adidas Y-3 x DUE WEST.

Built a Toronto-first Integrated creative campaign that transformed Due West into the cultural home of Adidas Y-3, demonstrating the power of community-led retail activations.

As Adidas Y-3's North American strategy increasingly prioritized brand-owned retail, Canada presented a different opportunity. With a strong network of premium independent retailers and highly engaged creative communities, the opportunity lay in demonstrating how local retail could become a platform for cultural brand engagement.

INSIGHT.

With Y-3 looking to reinvigorate its presence in Canada, Public/Realm developed an integrated creative, PR, and experiential campaign that transformed Due West into the cultural home of the brand in Toronto.

Beginning with an original creative concept, we developed and produced a Toronto-centric fashion film celebrating Y-3's "Trinity" of fashion, sport, and culture through the lens of an emerging local creative. Public/Realm led the campaign end-to-end—from creative direction and production, through to talent curation and campaign execution.

The campaign extended beyond content into an immersive retail experience. We transformed the Due West storefront into a week-long Y-3 destination through a custom four-panel LED installation before producing a launch event that brought together tastemakers, media, influencers, and the local creative community.

The result was more than a successful campaign. It demonstrated how community-led retail activation could strengthen brand relevance in Canada, reinforcing the value of investing in local cultural communities and independent retail partners.
